Crayon Cover Art Competition
The theme is BEAUTY. What does beauty mean to you? What does beauty look like? How can we respond to beauty? Does beauty have a place in art? These are the questions we ask you to consider when you submit to our inaugural cover competition. We are looking for exciting and innovative interpretations of the theme.
The judges comprise a diverse panel of renowned gallery owners, art critics and artists, who will bring their unique perspectives to the adjudication process. We are also joined by a young artist from the fine art world, Dan Bunn, who will helping with the judging process, and will be running our first-ever Crayon Masterclass.
Judges include:
Ronni Anderson, a Manhattan-based art dealer known for her discerning eye, is the owner and director of Anderson Contemporary, an art gallery and cultural hub.
Robert Simon is an art historian and art dealer in New York, specializing in Renaissance and Baroque paintings.
Dan Bunn a painter based in Brooklyn, NY, studied with Jacob Collins and the crew of notable painters and instructors in NYC. He is now teaching in the core program at GCA and showing new works with multiple venues.
